spooktober show, residency, et al
hello everyone,
So! If you’re reading this you subscribed to my ~email newsletter~ which I’ve now moved from mailchimp to here at Substack. You’ll still get emails from me, this platform just enables me to share photos, links, make it ~pretty~, etc. without the clonkiness of mailchimp’s backend.
anyways, writing this from my basement studio hidey-hole to share a few things upcoming on the docket:
I’m playing a spooky show
I’m live scoring a few indie horror films with Arie Verheul van de Ven at Odd Halloween at Tranzac on Friday, October 25th at 7:30pm.
We’ve collaborated with local Toronto filmmakers and game developers to present this lil horror frightfest of sight and sound. Fab Toronto VGM series Render File is also bringing out their ensemble of goons to live score a few horror games as well.
Come in costume, and be ready for a fright! The show sold-out last year, so I definitely recommend grabbing your tickets in advance.
I’m Tranzac’s 24/25 Artist in Residence…
alongside my longtime collaborator and friend Arie Verheul van de Ven! We’ll be putting on a show every 2nd Wednesday from 9:30-11:30pm running this November through March 2025 at the Southern Cross. More details on the series (and the artists we’re bringing out!) to come soon.
